Good, bad, or fugly?!

Boots

They're not too bad, surely? Grin They're so similar to a pair I currently have that I love, but these should be a bit more substantial and weather proof, not to mention easier to heel and sole - the current ones are a one piece heel & sole, not quite a wedge, but similar.

Nice.

Birgitz · 24/09/2014 20:11

Quite nice - they look like good practical boots, but dare I say not very exciting! Having said that, I'd probably buy them!

buttercrumble · 24/09/2014 20:13

I love those , I fancy the black Smile

mommathatwearspink · 24/09/2014 20:14

Not for me, sorry.

pictish · 24/09/2014 20:14

They're not to my taste, but if they are to yours, buy them.

Bartlebee · 24/09/2014 20:15

OK - bit blokey.

ouryve · 24/09/2014 20:16

Smart and practical. Probably better with a long skirt or bootleg jeans than skinnies. Too pointy for me.

How much??? £100 for boring manly boots.

No thanks.

ihatethecold · 24/09/2014 20:20

Ok. But only with skinnies, no bootlegs!

polyhymnia · 24/09/2014 20:24

Not to my taste. Among other things, don't like prominent ' gold' metal trims on boots.

LocalVelvet · 24/09/2014 20:25

I think they look like men's boots from the 80s, tbh.

MaryWestmacott · 24/09/2014 20:27

I'm not a fan. (was about to start another thread asking about a different pair of Clarks brown ankle boots! I have my eye on these for skinny jeans/skirts thick tights looks, would these be too fussy for you?)

Beautydiva · 24/09/2014 20:42

OP , it's nice but boring .

PP . No don't buy it . I had a sandal with that wrappy trappy . It gets tangled a lot and looks messier Hmm

mooth · 24/09/2014 20:48

No.

TimeForAnotherNameChange · 24/09/2014 21:17

That's pretty clear then Grin. Ah fuck it, I do like them! It was the plain and simpleness that appealed - I don't do high fashion, and I barely discovered skinnies last year and ballet flats this year, I'm not up to the minute lol! I wear my current pair with short skirt/dress/tunic/tights combos and occasionally with skinnies. I got a few compliments last week on my knitted tunic/leggings/ankle boot combo (I'm the poster who asked for help over the summer and you were all v generous with your advice and links), so I'm slowly getting there with updating my look a bit.

I've ordered both those ones and the Clarks Orinoco Club to try in store, and I'm waiting on an exchange pair of the Doc Marten Rowena's that were discussed on a previous thread. I do have a pair of sort of cowboy style heeled just under knee highs in a tan, and a pair of Doc Marten New Wedges in a dark brown if they're any better?
