Calling L'oreal Majirel DIYers!

So I've googled and searched for every post TattyDevine has ever made on here, and bought a tube of Majirel 5.35 and a bottle of 6%/20 volume developer. I have gloves, a tint brush, section clips and a plastic bowl for mixing all at the ready. I'm very used to box dyes but they make it so easy but don't cover my greys for more than 2 washes...

So, can I just check, what ratio of Majirel to developer should I use, and are there any brilliant tips that you can give me? Thanks!

Oh good point - I don't think I'm confident doing it by eye, at least not the first time! I was thinking plastic measuring spoons, but you think a jug would be better? I can pop into Sallys tomorrow.
