I'll help!

What type of company is the job with? Trendy media, corporate or something else?

Badvoc123 · 23/09/2014 12:41

It's a school...

Wrap dress and blazer
Pencil skirt, blouse
Peg trousers, vest top, blazer

Sommet like that?

Badvoc123 · 23/09/2014 16:18

My options ATM are:

  1. Purple knee length skirt with a black top and black cardi. Black opaque tights and ballerina flats.
  2. Same Purple skirt with black short sleeve blouse and ditto above
  3. Black top under grey military style dress and ditto above.
Sigh...do I need to go and get a pencil shirt? I do like the blouse...it has a lovely Peter Pan collar and short sleeves. I also like the skirt, but not really with the blouse... Dress I love, but not sure it's smart enough for an interview.... I also have a black dress but I would need to wear a shrug with it.

Option 1 the skirt, black top and cardi with ballet flats sounds best to me.

You want to comfortable in the clothes so you can focus on the interview questions rather than any problem with your clothes.

The flats are a good idea as they may take you on a tour of the building so you want to be walking comfortably.

Best of luck!

think the skirt option 1 is the most suited, wear whatever you feel the most comfortable and smart in. Nothing worse than worrying about clothes at an interview and fidgeting with stuff, pulling down/up clothes etc is very telling that you are uncomfy. good luck, do your best and be yourself Flowers

And smile as you first walk into the room Smile

Option 1
Have a good look at the school website, look at back copies of their newsletter, twitter account as well as their ofsted report.
Good luck!
