All Saints sizing

I'm sure this has been done before. Vanity sizing is a thing, obviously, but does anyone else think All Saints takes it to the opposite extreme?

I'm a size 8-10 in most shops. Bought a few AS dresses the other day online to try. The model was wearing a 10, so I bought a 10 in two styles and a 12 in the other. The 12 was a bit big around my hips, one of the 10s didn't suit me and the other was too tight. So I'm trying to decide whether to change it for a 12.

Fine, you say - BUT the biggest size they do is a 14. Seriously - they go from a 4 to a 14, and the models they shoot the clothes on are in a 10? Who buys this stuff? How many 12-year-old girls are there who can spunk £150 on a dress?

It makes me a bit angry, I'm not entirely sure why.

Hmm, I'm an 8 in most shops and an 8 in AS, so I'd say their sizing is in line with most places. They seem to style the models with everything slightly loose. As for only going up to a 14, well, that's their choice. If they want to alienate a large swathe of potential customers then I suppose that is their prerogative, foolish as it may seem.
