Knee High Boots

Just bought brown knee high boots with 20% off.

I was going to wear them over skinnies - or is that really not done now.

I never stopped wearing it! I think its very flattering and so easy

So do I. I branched out into alternating with ankle boots last year - but only found one pair that I think really worked as a look. I'm quite pearshaped and other ankle boots just emphasised that. I've worn the ankle boots to death and can't quite face the endless traipsing around to find a replacement pair -whereas knee high boots - I know what I like and what looks good.

Just don't want to look completely out of touch!

It is done now. Still looks good. If you go on websites e.g. Russell and Bromley they are recommending you wear their knee high boots over skinnies, and lots of the online stores such as Mint Velvet show models wearing that look for Autumn 2014. A good look that is comfortable tends to stick around for quite a few seasons.

Nice boots! I almost got these yesterday but they were a bit baggy round the ankle and calf (although in hindsight, the best of the bunch I tried on).

I was planning to wear with skinny jeans (eek - despite pear shape) or under standard bootcuts as the toes were nice and not too clumpy.

Cultural - I like those! I'm trying to restrict myself to buying one pair of boots this year - but I think I may have broken too soon....
