basic wardrobe

hi I am on a mission to lose weight but desperately need new clothes. I haven't a clue where to start and I don't have a fortune to spend and hope to lose weight so the clothes don't need to last forever. I suppose what I'm looking for are some basics to work upon that I can mix and match to create a few different outfits but need some help with what would be suitable!

thanks in advance

Have a look on pinterest and google images for basic capsule wardrobes.
Will show you how to mix and match the clothes too.

I find H&M to be great for inexpensive clothes, though the quality can really vary. Do you need casual or work clothes? Both?

I am sorted for work clothes so just casual. I was thinking things like a t shirt and jeans but it's just so dull and not sure what else would look good!

Tshirt and jeans can be really smart if you add a scarf or some statement jewellery. A nice jacket over the top, a big bag. It's easy to mix ands tech the looks with different colour tops and accessories. Just make sure everything's not too baggy.
