Mahoosive wide-leg All Saints jeans: keep or flog?

EBay purchase: was seduced by their outrageous anti-skinny silhouette and the fact they were a complete bargain. They are slightly cropped (30" inside leg) and very very wide - like 7/8 length culottes. Any suggestions how to style them? Clearly they need a fitted top to balance the volume: but any ideas on shoes in particular?

Or should I just flog them? (My 4 year old laughed out loud and called them clown's trousers - but heck, what does he know?).

Ballet flats and a ribbed polo neck?

Swedish hasbeens and I would wear fitted, possibly tucked in top and belt.

Depends on how cropped TBH.

You're verging into clown territory a little.

On ankle bone ((well flapping several inches away, but at that level ifyswim?). Hasbeens and tucked in top/belt sounds about right. Don't think I can get boots to work. Have some very shunky cherry red suede loafers with a block heel - they work OK too.

I think a heel might make them flap about more. I wonder could you let the hem down.

If this is the same style I'm not sure there's much you can to style it without looking short and fat, even if you're tall and thin.

Yup, those look similar, Burnished. If anything mine look a bit more extreme.

I vote for flogging them.

Off to try them one last time...thanks all.
