TK Maxx finds.....

Usually my trips to TK end in disappointment. But today was a good TK day so thought I would share.

I got this Zoe Karssen sweatshirt for lounging around the house for £18, and a great & Other Stories black blouse for £12.99. Also a couple of plain tops for layering from this brand, that seem like good quality. And some thick Wolford tights for winter.

They had a load of & Other Stories black dresses in various styles in my local store and a few different Zoe Karssen sweatshirts and Tshirts.

No doubt my next visit there will be fruitless....!

I hear about these great bargains and I never see any myself - probably because I can't be bothered to rummage.

In saying that, I bought a lovely leather bag for £50 a couple of weeks ago.

Today I tried on a fabulous DVF dress for £99. It was too small.

I had a good tk day today as well.

Lovely slouchy cashmere jumper for £40

It's definatly a shop I need to mooch in without children in tow!

I went today too and found a lovely Kew wool jacket in a burnt orange colour for £22! Didn't even go in to buy a jacket but when I saw it in the mirror, it was just the perfect colour for me and I had to have it for that price.

James Lakeland lined jersey dress (lovely quality) and over-sized Hobbs sweater: both £29.99.

Ours only had mad leopard pattern wolforda but did have a lot of nice jumpers- Antoni and Alison, Clements riberio, etc

On my last visit i picked up a black zip front peplum dress from ted baker that I bought full price in pink(£159 from ted baker) for £40. Last one my size.

I got the most beautiful pair of cream Barker brogues for £60 the other day. They normally go for around £200.

I tried on a v modernist olive green Calvin Klein dress for 30 quid in TK MAXX today. Great fit, fabulous heavy fabric but just a tiny bit too edgy for my workplace and dryclean only. This thread has made me want to dash back tomorrow morning and buy it.

However I did get a mint condition Hobbs sample jacket from Cancer Research for £8.50, so the trip wasn't a total washout.

A new one has opened near me recently. I went in again today and saw Jill Sander and Chloe boots and scallop edge pumps. They also had a miu miu wallet and a valentino rockstud wallet in gorgeous bright orange.
Sadly all I bought were some reading glasses for 3.99

Got a fab large leather Osprey bag for work today, thirty quid, and a cafetiere for a fiver . Have had a fair bit of kitchenware from there recently, including some quality pans and Sabatier knives. It's great for kitchen things if you don't mind mix and matching.

i love tk maxx, think its the eclectic mix of clothes they have, their clearance rails are always good for a rummage. they have lovely leather brogues in at the moment.

Ooh so many finds! TK seems to he going through a good patch right now!
A lot of the Wolfords were patterned 70, but they had plain too and quite a lot of colours.
And yes they had Osprey bags, and loads of Clements Riberio and Antoni and Alison knitwear. Lovely Antoni and Alison jumper dresses but too fitted for my liking. And Kew jackets. And some great wool coats. And I found a Karl Lagerfeld scarf.
I may have to go back next Saturday......

Got fantastic Falke thick tights in black for 8 quid a pair, including the cashmere and silk ones that go for 40 quid a crack normally. All the tights were in plain colours and decent ie large sizes.

Picked up a lovely Farhi cardigan for 24 quid, yum.

Ive been searching for the perfect black coat for a couple of years since ds was born. I need a hood, belt to pull in tummy, and nice buttons. seems easy but I had been searching every shop even ebay to find one that suited me and had given up, they either make me look massive, or dont fit.

I wandered into TK Maxx last week to pass some time waiting for somewhere to open and looked through the coat rail. this was the first one I got to in my size section.

Im not a massive fan of Jessica Simpson but my god its the best coat ive ever owned. size medium and im usually a 14. I went to a different store and bought another of her coats, longer length in Navy. £100 for 2 perfect coats. I normally dont find anything in there too so am bit excited to go back and look for other bargains.
