Help me find the perfect navy bag

Because I'm struggling badly. I really want a largish tote style. Budget around £250. I could pay higher for a bag I loved but ultimately a bag is just for putting stuff in. The nearest I've seen to what I'm looking for is a Michael kors at £295 which I like but wasn't sure about the feel of the leather or how well it would wear. Any advice, hints, tips gratefully accepted. Thanks in advance.

I recently bought this Peony & Moore navy one and LOVE it. Not tote style but leather really soft & holds loads. here

I was about to link to the same P&M one, which I don't own, but have been lusting over for AGES. :)

Ooh, that's lovely. Is the longer strap adjustable?

dazzlingdeborahrose · 20/09/2014 12:19

Ooooooh that is gorgeous. Only thing is I have two hobo bags in cream and black so was hoping to get something a slightly different shape. I'm going to have a good mooch around the p&m site though. And maybe ogle that bag a bit more Wink

I've got that bag in a diff colour, gorgeous bag. Yes the longer strap is adjustable and comes off too, they both can come off which I like.

Mimi Berry have lovely styles, and are excellent quality for the ££. This any good?: www.mimiberry.co.uk/shop/product/walter-navy-AW14RTL

Russell and Bromley have quite a few to look at. I love their Lancaster (sorry can't link) and also the style called Reaction - though that's more slouchy. I have quite a few of their bags and all have worn very well.

Oroton

Large amount of drool worthy navy bags.

hollyisalovelyname · 21/09/2014 10:10

I love Russell and Bromley.
What a shame they don't have store in Dublin.
Actually it's probably good for my bank balance Smile
And.....as with all U.K. retailers in Ireland they would hugely inflate the price for Irish customers- way beyond the euro exchange rate/ cost of transport/ different tax rate etc Hmm
Sorry for hijacking thread.

dazzlingdeborahrose · 21/09/2014 10:40

Some gorgeous bags. Favourites at the moment are the jaeger and the zip wire at Russell and Bromley. Thanks everyone. Oh and holly, next time I'm visiting my relatives in Dublin I'll give you a heads up. Maybe I could make a Russell and Bromley special delivery Wink

Thanks dazzling

Have you tried Parcel Motel holly? I often buy off UK websites and deliver via Parcel Motel instead of paying the ridiculously inflated prices that the same shops charge in Ireland.

Clarks and Monsoon you should be ashamed of yourselves! Hello....Laura Ashley....50% markup on homewares.....have you lost your mind?

hollyisalovelyname · 26/09/2014 16:49

Burnished I have signed up for Parcelmotel but had a problem with some site ( can't remember what one) that wouldn't deliver to the NI parcel motel depot address. So i haven't bothered since.
