The one I've been using (and has lasted around 2 years! ) has been discontinued Sad This always bloody happens to me. It was a benefit one.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a decent one for me to try please? Would have to be a 'high street' brand (not sure if that's the right term) as I've only got access to a small boots today so maybelline/boujeous/revlon etc.

Just after a nice matte powder to combat shine and kind of even out my skin tone a bit. Any advice much appreciated. Smile

If you want matt, I'm very fond of max factor. Works with anything even bare skin. I do find I need to apply it with a kabuki brush though.

I really like the Bourjois one in a red compact. I think it's called healthy balance.

The Maybelline 24 hour one is good. Lots of pigment and goes on nicely. Watching with interest for other recommendations, though, as their palest one is a bit dark for me in the winter months.

Oh yes I should've said, I'm really pale. Thanks for recommendations so far.

Not very glam packaging but I've been v impressed with Rimmel stay matte pressed powder.

My teen dd put me on to it. Being 1000 yrs older than her I didn't really think it'd be ok for my skin but it's v good.

Im really impressed with mac studio face powder in NW13 or NW15 for super pale. I know it's not totally 'high street' but imo it's tops clinique double powder and that's fab!

I'm very pale too and use the Bourjois Healthy Balance one. Or the Rimmel matte translucent powder is also good and cheap as chips.
