I am in my 40s, with dry cheeks and an oiler (but not problematic) nose and chin.

I want my skin to feel nourished and plump.

I use an oil cleanser and have just started the Boots Lift and Luminate serum. I exfoliate (have been a bit remiss but getting back on the wagon) with Dermalogica, that's about the only one my skin likes, anything foaming bring me out in red patches.

My complexion is northern European, my skin looks a bit rough and tired, and it's prone to dehydration. I have spider veins on my cheekbones.

Any thoughts?

I am also in 40s with similar skin and have found Weleda to be really good - I like the almond soothing cream and the rose smoothing day cream.

The almond one is very rich but the rose one bit lighter and I switch between the two depending on how my skin is.

I've also started making an effort to drinks loads of water and found that has made a big difference to how my skin looks/feels.
