I'm looking for some advice on my hair colour.
I have my hair professionally coloured every month (usually just the roots and a bit of 'refreshing' of the ends). The colour is always really rich and vibrant at first (I have like a near black with some v subtle 'violety' hues).
The technician always uses a semi permanent, but after just one wash the colour loses it's richness and vibrancy and becomes more of a dark brown colour. I try and only wash my hair once a week because of this.
Should I ask him to use a permanent colour instead? Will this make the colour last longer, or does permanent colour still fade like semi permanent?
