Prolly on Autumnal days cold winters...! I love winter clothes and find nothing more cosy than wrapping up in chunky woolly tights and huge maxi cardi or jumper.
Anyone else a winter girl?

I have been organised with my Autumn clothes and boots for the first time ever and am really looking forward to wearing them.

I adore autumn, and not just because I love getting into my boots. It is my favourite season.

MarshaBrady · 18/09/2014 21:22

I love Autumn and early winter. The extra heat is lovely, but I'll be ready when the fresh chill kicks in. Have the wardrobe ready too.

ChablisLover · 18/09/2014 21:30

Yes. I prefer winter as I can seem to dress better for cold than warm. And most of my wardrobe especially for work is winter geared

Plus I have a new coat and boots I want to wear now!!!!!!

QueenCardigan · 18/09/2014 21:49

I love summer weather as hate being cold but I prefer autumn/winter clothes. Ths changeable weather during the day is bloody tedious as I'm sick of getting changed.

Like others I have new boots and other stuff waiting to be worn.

CointreauVersial · 18/09/2014 22:49

Noooo.... I'll keep the summer, thanks. I'm dreading the season of tights, boots, coats and gloves. I wish it was summer forever.

tanya1010 · 18/09/2014 22:57

Love winter clothes, always love coats, scarves, gloves, tights, boots and little skirts. Providing it is cold and frosty. Hate wind, rain and fog.

beanandspud · 18/09/2014 23:17

I love wearing 'proper' summer clothes - summer dress and flip flops. I also love 'proper' winter clothes - tights, boots, layers, knitwear, scarves.

I hate the in-between stuff - never knowing what the weather will do, summer clothes with a cardigan, cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon, too cold for flip flops, too warm for boots...

TSSDNCOP · 18/09/2014 23:26

Yes, if for no other reason than I shall own these babies

Note. I opened a km card today and got a £20 voucher. I'll just cut the card up when I'm done.

Wibblypiglikesbananas · 18/09/2014 23:27

Yes! Currently living on the East Coast of the US and it is still shorts weather. Coming to the UK next month and can't wait to get my coats and boots out!

buttercrumble · 19/09/2014 09:24

Love it Smile

Eliza22 · 19/09/2014 16:51

Love it! My son does too but his dad is a hot weather creature. I love this time of year....my birthday is 22nd September and my mum often says it was a beautiful, bright, mark, sunny day. October/November can be dry and bright too. I love getting wrapped up and outside...far mor than in the summer.

tethersend · 19/09/2014 17:23

God, I love it.

I buy winter coats and boots surreptitiously on eBay in August (when they're much cheaper) and get all secretly excited Grin

blardyfeck · 19/09/2014 17:33

Yes I love cold crisp mornings. I love being wrapped up warm and toasty, big winter coat and scarf.
But I suppose I have never ever felt slim enough to wear summer gear. And I'm 40. I may be a size 12 but I have chunky legs (so never wear skirts or dresses) and I have always hated my arms (so have never worn vest tops) Sad

EvansOvalPiesYumYum · 19/09/2014 17:39

I, too, love colder seasons. Autumn and winter (especially winter) as the weather gets cooler and the clothes get cuddlier. Prefer winter clothes to summer. Love snow, and don't mind rain. I actually have considered, over the years, moving to somewhere like Alaska, or the darkest, deepest depths of Canada.

I do like spring though, when new shoots and baby animals pop up. Just hot summers - bleurgh! DP is talking about moving to a hot country when we retire - he'll be going on his own!!!

Honsepricesarecrazy · 19/09/2014 22:17

No way. I am mourning the fact that summer is coming to an end, we are a real summer family. I love wearing sandals / flip flops and not having to take a coat. I love having my back doors open, I love the warm evenings. This summer has gone on for months bar a few weeks in August and I am dreading the winter. I love that I have really made use of my summer wardrobe. My kids haven't worn trousers since may and are all still in their summer uniform. Heaven. I have to go away in the winter, I just can't coke with weeks and months of damp and grey. People keep talking about cold crisp days, I don't think we had any last year, it's generally grey, rainy and miserable

GeorginaWorsley · 19/09/2014 22:40

I like summer to be may June July August , possibly early September.
then I'm fed up and want autumn and mellow fruitfulness!

fairylightsintheloft · 20/09/2014 07:47

yep, want it to be proper Autumn now. Love it - hate being hot and slightly sweaty as soon as you do anything at all. Want to wear my boots to work which are more comfortable than the heeled shoes I wear in summer. Love puddle and leaf jumping with the kids. Hoping they'll decide they like hot chocolate this year so we can cuddle up together with some - specially as they just discovered Disney films too Smile

Pollywallywinkles · 20/09/2014 08:05

I am quite happy with each of the seasons as they come around. I love this time of year when autumn is starting but we have a bright and sunny afternoon. The evenings drawing in are a change after the light nights of summer and come spring I will look forward to the nights drawing out.

At the moment I'm looking forward to wearing boots again more than anything else. I do tend to wear layers a lot, so I can wear most of my clothes all year round. I do have a few items that are more winter clothing due to their colour and I'm looking forward to getting them out again.

Eliza22 · 20/09/2014 09:50

Aren't we lucky to have these seasons? I'd not want to live in an all-year-round climate.

TheBookofRuth · 20/09/2014 10:04

See, that's the thing, I like all the seasons, and I want to enjoy them properly. September should be a time for needing a smart little jacket, and I have a gorgeous one - beautifully fitted forest- green tweed - that I've not had a chance to wear yet.

Sadly while the summery weather seems to be at an end, it's been replaced by rain, so I can't wear it today either. Humph.
