Foundation- Clinique or Dior

Hi, I currently use a No 7 foundation but as I'm getting old have decided to try a more expensive and hopefully forgiving brand! A friend uses Dior nude and always looks flawless but it's £32. So do I go for the more reasonable Clinique or blow my budget for Dior?
Thanks Smile

Why not go and try the Dior one and ask for a sample to take away? If you like it then spend the money. You wear your face every day, an extra ten quid or so for something you will wear every day for several months has got to be worth it, hasn't it?

Don't buy an expensive foundation before you've tried it properly. It's too much money to waste.

I personally prefer Diorskin Nude to any Clinique foundation I've tried, but my skin type and preferences may be different to yours.

Thanks for your replies. Do they give you a decent sample size to try?

Dior by a million miles, it's totally worth the extra.

You can try it on your hand and make sure it's the right colour, but I don't think they do samples.

I've received samples from Dior in proper mini packaging - suspect it depends what that particular counter have in stock. Don't try for colour on the back of your hand, at the very least ask the assistant to apply it to your whole face then go away and see if you are happy with it in various lights.

I love Dior - use Nude or Forever for heavier matt coverage. I have dry skin and both are the best I've used which dont sit/cake on the skin.
