Knee high boots for work?

I really like my flat, black leather knee high boots at the weekend. I travel a lot for work (day trips, public transport, lots of walking) and always need flats.

I was wondering if anyone wears knee high boots to work and if so whst with?

They would be great for the wet weather and for walking. My office environment is smart but on the casual end because I'm in the public sector.

I love wearing flat knee high boots for work, I wear them with leggings, with tights (either patterned or opaque) and skirts, or with dresses. Very versatile.

I didn't for years because I didn't think they were quite appropriate but I do now and you're right they're so much more practical.

I just wear them with my usual work wear - skirt suits and dresses.

I think they'd be fine. Our place is reasonably corporate, but I still occasionally wear knee highs, either with a skirt or dress, or with very skinny trousers.

I nearly always wear knee high boots for work in winter. For everyday work i wear flats as i do a lot of walking and travel. For meetings and more formal stuff i wear knee high boots with a heel, as they do look more stylish and formal if that makes sense ? I always wear them with a shortish dress or mini skirt and always with opaque tights as i think this is a nice and stylish look. Also the tights do give you a bit more coverage wearing a mini. Otherwise i wear them over the top of skinny jeans or leggings as i think this is also a nice stylish look. However i rarely wear flats like this, and always wear boots with a heel this way.
