help with styling a gorgeous scarf

this is my first thread in s&b; i was reading some threads earlier and was struck by how helpful everyone is (in stark contrast to some other sections of mn! although I'm not complaining, I like those boards too.)

I saw this scarf in zara yesterday and was dying to buy it, but ive no idea how to wear it. I'm much shorter than the model and fairly boobish, so I'm a bit worried it will just make me look like a lump. although a lump in beautiful seasonal shades

Any suggestions?

What's your usual style, what kind of look do you normally go for?

I wouldn't say I have much of a look, to be honest. I mostly wear eg jumpers with pencil skirts or trousers for work, a fair amount of black. Skinny jeans with boots or converse the rest of the time. I tend to wear quite plain clothes, but I like accessories and I like to paint my nails etc.
