I just bought silver boots.

Am i mad? They're silver western style ankle boots on asos. I thought they might be nice with black and grey skinny jeans, but i am very much out of my comfort zone

Don't keep them for best or an occasion wear asap so that you don't avoid them. They sound fab

The only thing I wouldn't wear them with is any flared skirt. You'll look like a country and western singer.

Oh they're great, such a fabulous change from boring black. They will make you happy every time you wear them!

I've got some pointy-toed kitten heeled pewter boots at the back of the wardrobe which I'm trying to pluck up the courage to wear, but your ASOS ones look much more practical. Wear them immediately to the supermarket and the playground and you'll soon get used to the idea.

Wow thanks for all the positive feedback! I was expecting people to say they sound dreadful . Im just sick of being so conservatively dressed all the time. I think i fancy a bit of a shake up!

Oh and I've started wearing a stud in my upper ear again. I think my conversion to bright red henna has started all of this lol

I will indeed onelittlelady. i only ordered them this avo so i wont receive them for approx a week. I will only keep them if they are really comfortable though. I walk most places so am very big on comfort.

I'd love a report back on them. I really fancy them but I need comfy shoes. I can't walk in heels anymore so am always on the look out for stylish/funky boots and flats

I bought some from M&S last December and will be getting them back out soon.
They have a bit of a distressed look and are really comfy. Love them with black straight leg jeans ( can't do skinnies)

Well they arrived. Meh, they aren't as fab as i thought they would be. The stitching is a bit off and they look a bit cheap to be honest. They are quite narrow on and my heel kept slipping out of them so they are going back.
