It depends. For Shakin' Stevens fans, they never went 'out'.

spottymoo · 12/09/2014 14:01

Denim jackets are more a spring/summer thing IMO

mirpuppet · 12/09/2014 14:03

Always "in"; I also think more summer/spring.

I would charity shop as I don't think you will get a lot of money from Ebay.

pinkfrocks · 12/09/2014 14:35

LOL at Shaki' Stevens

Yes it's bagged for charity as thought about it and decided for all the faff of taking pics, packing and posting it won't be worth it.
Thanks anyway.

Always in but I don't think they look stylish if you are busty

foxdongle · 12/09/2014 15:48

I feel you. Wink

Otherwise in.

Careful though - double denim, and you're on dodgy territory.

AtlanticDrift · 12/09/2014 22:31

They never went out darling. Denim jacket and leather jacket, the everlasting wardrobe staples.

cerealqueen · 12/09/2014 23:24

Yes, with the right things. Wore one last week with a 50s dress

CointreauVersial · 12/09/2014 23:39

I just bought one - from a charity shop, in fact. Grin It's from Gap, and is really lovely, thick and soft mid-wash denim.

They are classics, and will be around for a while (although I don't dare do the double).

burnishedsilver · 13/09/2014 09:21

Great. Now I've got that 'green door' song stuck in my head.

mooth · 13/09/2014 15:04

Pop a Christmas jumper underneath your denim, put on some high waisted jeans, you're good to go for a Shaky style festive season!

pinkfrocks · 13/09/2014 15:08

well it's in the charity shop now....

I wore mine today, with black skinnies. I like them with tube skirts too. Obvs no to double denim.

WilburIsSomePig · 13/09/2014 15:41

Very in round here. Denim jacket, plain T, cropped trousers or skinnies and of course now it's a little 'autumnal' the ubiquitous chiffon style scarf.

GobblersKnob · 13/09/2014 15:48

I can't imagine life without a denim jacket.

FrancesFarmer · 13/09/2014 20:51

They are in - I've seen quite a few on various fashion blogs lately. They must be fitted and cropped.
