What is the sizing like on Target Dry Emily and Georgia Parkas? I am normally a size 10 but am not sute to order a 10 or an 8?

I am a usually a ten, would say average build, neither tall nor petite, and I am sending back the Emily in a 10 as it was too bulky around the top and the sleeves were a bit long.

The Emily is very lightweight, so it depends how much you want to layer underneath, but personally I wanted it because of its 'fitted' look and didn't get this in the 10.

I ordered a Victoria in an 8 (couldn't get an Emily in an 8 at the time, and the Victoria is the newer version, pretty much the same coat) and I'm happy with that, looks nice and fitted but I can still get a hoodie zipped up underneath or a micro fleece without affecting the shape.

Don't know about the Georgia but think it is a warmer/thicker coat than the others so would need less room underneath it anyway. Hth.

Thanks so much for the advice!! I was debating whether to get an 8 or 10 but 8 sounds better as I like it fitted too. They are sold out at target dry and another website is selling them but charge for returns so I wanted to make sure I had the correct size to avoid extra costs.

Yes, I had the same debate, figured I'd go for the bigger size as it's usually the way with coats, now paying to send it back![

Hope it works out for you Smile

I had the opposite experience. Anyway, it depends on whether you want to wear anything bulkier underneath (which I often do).

Yes, I don't like feeling too bulky, and have a bigger coat for colder weather.

If you google image search the Emily a few blogs come up with reviews etc, you might get a better idea of the coat seeing how it fits on someone. The couple I saw seemed to go for a looser fit with layering.
