1. I never fasten my leather jackets
2. Not sure - prefer bikers, personally - it could possibly look a bit Starsky and Hutch-ish. Would need to see irl. It looks okay, but there's something strange about the shape of it. If it works it would be great, but it might not work. Might depend on how long it is on you too.

I don't see that not fastening a leather jacket is a bad thing, I'm just not keen on that particular one. However, it may look amazing on you!
