Leather vs Faux Jacket??

Is it worth investing in a real leather biker jacket or is faux leather comfortable enough??

I was just in New Look and the jackets did look pretty good (I was thinking of this thread.) Otherwise, I thought it was a pretty crummy shop with prices way too high for what they were selling.

I love mine, it's from River Island and cost £100. I see fake leather ones for £60 and think that's bonkers. Unless for ethical reasons of course.

This is mine, or very similar. Really lovely thick smooth soft leather and slim in the arms. If I was in the market for another I'd get this gorgeous wine one.

Wore my MV one tonight, for just the second time. It is so soft and lovely - I can't describe how much I love it! :)

I was going to say new look too. Went in there yesterday and there were two which caught my eye and were really lovely and soft faux leather. Definitely worth a look.

Ahhh...help me S&B gurus...I have the genuine leather bike jacket in the attic...have takend the armour out of it so it is less bulky. Is this permittable to wear as a walking-along-the-street rather than on an actual bike? Looks a bit like this:

Another vote for faux here. I don't use leather.
All the faux jackets I've seen though are biker or bomber style. Would love a blazer shaped faux one, if any one has seen one?

Remus do you know what the name of your jacket is? I'm desperate to find one. Been looking for my ideal biker jacket for ages and that's the loveliest one I've seen. Going to keep an eye out for it.

I think it was just described as a grey leather biker. This one looks the same shape, but is black and studded. I've taken the weird neck strap bit off of mine.
