I've got naturally curly hair but never ever wear it curly always blowdry and straighten it!

Dd has curly hair which is gorgeous and all I do is wash condition wrap it in a teeshirt for 30 mins comb it through then before bed tie it up in a scrunchie in the morning she just needs to shake her hair and the curls are fab

But my hair just goes a mass of curly frizz!!

What can I do to ease the frizz?

Firstly what are you using on your hair inc shampoo and conditioner? That can make a huge difference?

You need to look up the Curly Girl hair care method. Two good sites to check out are British Curlies and Naturally Curly. Basically, you need to get rid of any products containing sulphates and silicones. You also need to identify your curl 'type' to know how to best care for it.

Also, if you live anywhere near Birmingham or can get there easily, I would highly recommend going for a cut with Matt at Puro Hair. He is the only hair stylist in the UK who is a specialist in curly hair and he cuts it using the Deva method - basically the hair is cut dry. It makes the most enormous difference. He is a great guy and well worth the trip! People travel from all over the country to see him.

I would recommend even buying the book [http://www.amazon.co.uk/Curly-Girl-Handbook-Lorraine-Massey/dp/076115678X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1410469192&sr=8-1&keywords=curlygirl]] I thought my curls had gone due to 2DC and age/grey/colouring. Reading the book showed my how my haircare/products had changed over the years.

A few tweaks and 2-3 days I am back to having defined curls rather than frizzy, lacking in oomph waves. And I know how to deal with it if it does frizz during the day.
