I'm about to make an online purchase and had a look at the returns policy.

Can it be accurate that if you can't bring an item back to a high street shop you have to send it by post to Barcelona? Might just be me, to be fair, as I am very tired...

Anyone know for sure?

Pretty sure you can take it directly to the store.

lordnoobson · 11/09/2014 02:05

Order from John Lewis

HolgerDanske · 11/09/2014 06:42

Thanks lordnoobson. Unfortunately they don't stock the item I want.

I return my on,ine Mango orders to Mango stores, here in London, all the time. Never a problem.

HolgerDanske · 11/09/2014 07:15

Yes I could return to a store but it's quite a trek to the nearest one. I wanted to return by post to an address in the UK.

Never mind.

As an aside, is the quality alright on things like jumpers?

Hi Op,

I've been a fan of Mango for years. Their knitwear in particular I like the fit and the quality . My nearest store is about 40 minutes away and I've been known to order from asos because of the return policy and because sometimes it's cheaper. I live in a euro zone but stores here add an import tax on to the Spanish prices. Anyway, I've never had to return anything.

Thank you :-)

It's a current piece but I suppose there might be something similar in the outlet.

Glad to hear the quality is good, have seen a lovely jumper for not too much money!

Thanks everyone. I'll have a gander on asos, then

Another question: am I quite safe ordering my usual size?

OP posts:
HolgerDanske · 11/09/2014 08:03

M for size 10?

OP posts:
elephanteraser · 11/09/2014 08:04

HolgerDanske · 11/09/2014 08:05

Thanks elephant. Already had a look, they haven't got the item I want :-(

M for size 10?

Not always. I've ordered tops in a 12 and a 10 and when they've arrived they've been labelled L and M respectively.

HolgerDanske · 11/09/2014 08:32

Hmmm well I went for the M and I'll just have to see. As it happens I'm in york in a couple weeks' time so if I need to I can bring it back to the shop there.

mrsnec · 11/09/2014 08:56

I order L for a 12 in knitwear so yes an m if you're a 10. Does depend on the style though, the Xl jumper dresses sometimes fitted me when I was a 16!

HolgerDanske · 11/09/2014 08:58

Cool, thanks all!

I have ordered from asos saves the hassle.

maybemyrtle · 11/09/2014 11:59

Hi, you don't have to send them back to Barcelona unless you cancel under distance selling regs.

POSTAL RETURN

To do this, you should send the garment to the following address:

c/o MANGO On Line, S.A. - Return Department
ClientBase Fulfilment Carriage House
Forde Road
Newton Abbot
TQ12 4EY
United Kingdom

We recommend sending the package by registered mail.

maybemyrtle · 11/09/2014 12:01

Full returns policy here

HolgerDanske · 11/09/2014 12:03

Thank you! So if I receive the items and some don't fit, for example, it's fine to return to the above address?

OP posts:
HolgerDanske · 11/09/2014 12:05

Oh thanks for the link, that's very helpful.

Fingers crossed it all fits and I won't need to send anything back!
