The Autumn 2014 Boots for Skinny Calves Thread

I know this topic comes up a lot but thought a thread about what styles are out there right now might be fun.

I have 35 cm calves, which means it's almost impossible to find boots in shops that fit me. However, I did find a pair of flat plain boots at M&S the other day that are OK:

Pretty boring, and they're not tight as gloves, but they don't gap too much and look pretty good on my legs with skinny jeans.

I'm considering these from Duo:

But I hate not being able to try them on, first, for that sort of money. (Can you send them back?)

Anyway, I'd love to hear about any narrow calve boots you've seen out there recently.

Pied a terre boots fit my 33 cm calves well. I have two pairs of their boots, pricey but lovely quality.
Also Fly boots used to come up fairly narrow, I worked in a shoe shop for years so tried every knee high boot on every winter!

The links that people are seeing are not actually in the thread - they're coming from your browser, which has picked something up that is turning certain words and phrases into links. I don't know if it's a cookie or something else. Anyway, I'm not seeing them.

Petal, I put them under my boots like socks and pull them up past the boot top to the point that I think it looks good. In my case, that means right up to my knee. I'm wearing a grey miniskirt and jumper with black tights and black boots, so I've got grey legwarmers on. If I didn't want the look of a contrasting color at the top of my boots, I would just wear black legwarmers.

The style that is 'half and half' i.e. elastic and leather e.g. the Stuart Wietzman 50/50 range is great for very slim calves as the elastic fits to your shape (and I'm sure someone else will have commented on this too so apologies, I haven't read the whole thread). Anyway I've just bought some, at great expense, as all the others I tried looked like wellies on me.

Does anyone know the calf measurements for Dune boots, especially the Tilly riding boot? It doesn't say on their website,

I have the same problem. Got some lovely kurt geiger boots in tk maxx last year which fit well but I always have to wear long socks over tights in order to minimise the welly boot look! Fine as I always have cold feet anyway.

I have slim calves, 37 cm I think I find that they scale up calf width with shoe size, a 5 would be good for me on the calf usually, but I'm a 7! I got ugg Irmah, which is pretty good with leg warmers. My very slim friend always gets these

Which are adjustable. They usually do them with a heel (and a stiletto version) but can't see them on the website at the moment, unless the wrong side of the boot is on show in the picture!
