Clarisonic Mia2 or Aria

I have convinced myself that I absolutely NEED a Clarisonic, and I will become a clear-skinned beauty overnight, but I am thrown... which should I go for, and also what's the deal with the plug (Aria particularly) - can you just plug it into a regular uk socket - or shaver socket, or will I need to get an adaptor? (Incidentally am just getting our main ensuite redone, and have requested a shaver socket within the built-in vanity - so would be lovely if Clarisonic just plugged in there..)

I have the Aria. You plug it into a regular socket - it has a combine USB/regular socket like an iPhone. If there's a shaver socket/USB converter around, that would be ideal.

P.S.: only reason I got the Aria is that there was a sale and I used a code and got it for cheaper than the Mia2 Wink...

I recently bought mia2 on a very good offer and I'm loving it !

I'm not sure whats the difference between two

Wendela · 09/09/2014 18:58

Glad to hear you can just plug it into regular shaver type socket... reasons not to get a Clarisonic...... = 0!
Right, now I need to find a fabulous deal! Snowbells, was your a recent purchase? Any super savvy shoppers out there who have found a good deal?

OK - now that I'm on my actual computer rather than the phone, here it goes.

Wendela - I got mine from feelunique.com which is an official retailer. This was a few weeks ago. Back then, they had a 25% off sale and the Aria was approximately £116. I also got a 15% voucher code, meaning I only paid £98. I put only in italics because there will be some who might take offense at paying nearly a hundred quid for what they may see as a glorified face brush.

I looked at the website, and unfortunately, it's no longer on sale...

Main differences between Mia2 and Aria:

  • Mia2 has a travel case, Aria doesn't
  • Mia2 has two speeds, Aria has three
  • Aria has a stand that can also be used as a charger, Mia2 doesn't
  • Aria can be charged via USB, but Mia2 can't

Personally, I like it. It's good for my skin, but I had realistic expectations. Some people expect a lot (i.e. Hollywood looks by tomorrow) and that's not going to happen...

Got mine from QVC. I have very oily spotty prone skin......not a miracle worker but makes skin feel clean and toned.

I have the Aria - I like that you can charge it via a USB. It makes it very easy when traveling.

I don't know it turned me into a smooth skinned beauty but I would certainly miss it if told I couldn't use it again.

Of the models I had wanted the professional one that can also be used as a body brush but they stopped selling it to non therapist purchasers.

SnowBells thanks a lot for the info.

I have also bought mia 2 from feelunique and it was on offer plus 15% off Smile

guaranteedpersonality - the Pro one is still available to non-therapists, you merely have to buy it from a clinic (some of which sell it online - hint hint). If you contact Clarisonic, they'll happily provide you with details of your closest clinic that sells it.

Thank you Snowbell!
