M&S floral boots - funky or frumpy?!

Just ordered these to wear with slim jeans, I liked them but now I can't decide if they're actually frumpy/for a more mature lady (I'm 39 so not a spring chicken but not in my dotage yet either!)

So what's the Mumsnet verdict, yay or nay?

I like them. I might actually get them. But I'll wait till the sales...

I don't mind a little bit of twee. I just tell myself I'm doing it ironically ;-)

I tell myself that I do ironic twee too, but these boots are a bridge too far, even for me. Sorry.

Oh dear the majority vote is definitely on the "no" side!

So I now have the boots and I actually like the look of them including the print! But, not sure if my feet are a weird shape, the boot sides bulge out weirdly and look misshapen so they'll definitely have to go back, sigh.

Oh what a shame. Maybe they're a little too narrow for your feet. Could try sizing up?

I might get them. Thinking to team them with an oversized scarf from zara and my scruffy hobo bag. I think I might just succeed in making them sort of ok? And I don't really mind sharing my footwear choices with the more mature woman :-)

Heheh that wasn't meant to be a question mark! I'm perfectly confident I'll make them look ok Grin
