cigarette pants

Following on from the thread about what to wear on your feet with CPs, can anyone actually define what they are?

I've seen ankle length capri style, jeggings, treggings, straight slim legs but never cigarette pants advertised as such.

Point me in the right direction..............

I bought a pair labelled as cigarette pants in M&S, the identical trousers are now labelled modern slim

I've got these.

I don't normally buy Myleene Klass stuff, but needed something smart urgently (had planned to wear a dress but was too cold). They look great on.

Sometimes they are called 7/8th trousers.
