help find me a winter parka that's not frumpy

After reading all the "frumpy" threads on mumsnet I've become quite self conscious. I'm only 29 but because I have two toddlers fashion hasn't always been a priority. I want a waterproof parka style winter jacket, I looked at the Merrell Ellenwood that has been suggested on here but does it qualify as being frumpy and unfashionable?? Help please ??

I ended up with the Target Dry Parka, its fab!! I had to send back the size 10 and get a size 8 instead as I like it to be more fitted and found these come up a bit loose. Beautiful and not frumpy at all :)

Did you get the new Military Green colour? The Beetroot colour is nearly sold out now as it was last seasons colour. Tempted to buy another one. At £63 it might be wrong not too. Enjoy.

I love the look of the beetroot and purple ones but decided on something more practical and went for the navy blue, its beautiful and looks really warm, the price is amazing too especially considering proper waterproof coats cost so much..I was going to get the Merrell Ellenwood but that was more than double the price and this looks trendier.

I also bought the Target Dry Emily Parka after receiving the Georgia as I loved the fit and wanted something for when the weather is not as cold..both great parkas..would not have found them without Mumsnet!!

I also got the Emily parka here for the summer. It is a great coat, looks really smart (I got the red one which is a really beautiful red color).

I can't decide what colour Georgia parka to get... help!! Am torn between purple and indigo.

spooky they are both gorgeous colours!!! Purple one looks beautiful, bright bold colour to stand out in the winter...otherwise if you want a more blendable colour go for the navy :)
