DH is buying me a bag for my birthday later this month and I've lusted after this bag ever since I stumbled across it while browsing the sales section for wrap dresses! Only thing is, I can't find any reviews on DVF bags and I really want something that will stand up to the everyday battering of a busy mum with 3 little ones it's big enough, and I really like the colour & style of it and yet I'm undecided.....
Any advice/opinions gratefully received... Thank you!

No help really but it's a lovely bag. I have had DVF clothes and are always lovely, although they have tended to be evening type clothes so haven't had lots of wear.
I would just go for the bag and enjoy it!

Thanks Hammerandnails I know the dresses are fab and I'm really hoping the bag turns out the same. It's just that I've seen no reviews at all for any DVF accessories which is kinda odd these days for a relatively well known brand like DVF! Perhaps I'm just looking in the wrong places. I think I will just go for it anyway Thanks!

Wow! Thanks ZaraW that's quite a bit cheaper but I'm not keen on the red at all! I will look around on other US sites that ship to the UK, might find the colour I want for less

I have a DVF bag - not that style.
The leather is gorgeous, and the hardware sturdy and I love using it. The only down side with my bag is that it can be a bit fiddly to close the magnetic clasp so I tend to use a pocket on the outside back more.
That's probably not v useful in relation to your bag!
Overall I'd say the bags are good quality.

Josie I don't have a dvf bag either but am currently contemplating an evening one. Have some clothing though and quality is good, would say its a brand you can trust. Beware of import taxes from US websites though, shopbop lets you pay upfront and is v clear about it but with others you risk getting charged by the courier co before they deliver. The one you've picked is a nice classic colour and the correct price so I'd be tempted to stick with it if its the one you love.

Hammerandnails ok, my birthday isn't until the last week in sept but I will come back and update when I get it. Thanks maradesbois for your advice. I think we will get it from Selfridges now as slightly less than the DVF site and faster delivery times! I can't wait!
