Boots. Size 5.5-6, depending on brand. Wide feet, wide calves. Have spent most of the last year in DM Triumph 1914s, black, which are lush. But I don't want to wear them out and need a brown option too.
This week I have tried:
Fly Mes - 6, brown...hard to get my foot into, yet plenty of room in the foot once its on. Will they 'break in' and become easier to get on once worn a bit? Haven't worn this brand before so don't know.
Clarks Orinocco Jive, brown 6 wide fit...still too narrow!
Clarks Orinoco Sash, brown 6 wide fit...again, still too narrow, some ugly foot bulging.
Clearly I am pissing in the wind with Clarks? Same size in different styles there fits fine.
There are some Cat and Timberland ones I like, anyone know if they run wide/narrow? Ordering online mostly as my nearly 2yo is my constant companion, she howls and screams NO if I go into the clothes/shoe section of a shop :(
Other suggestions for wide fits welcomed. I am into rugged rather than ladylike refined style, leather, and preferably not lace up as quicker to take on and off.
