Anyone ever used Epiduo?

I've been prescribed this today.

I have had bad acne for around 10 years which has recently gotten worse. I kept getting huge painful pustules on my chin and had smaller acne all around my nose and some on my forehead, and quite bad redness. Also horrible dry flaky skin on my forehead and around my nose too. GP prescribed me Doxycycline tablets to take which got rid of the huge chin spots, the dry skin and most of the redness but I still have the non-bumpy acne on my nose, chin and cheeks. I've been back today and she prescribed more doxycycline as it can take up to 6 months to completely work and also some Epiduo cream.

GP said to apply it at night then wash it off in the morning. I've looked at the leaflet and it doesn't mention anything about washing off. Is this right?

Has this worked for anyone else?

Oh also do I still use a moisturiser with it? I currently use Eucerin 5% cream as I have perioral dermatitis and it's very gentle on my skin.
