do overnight spa breaks with some decent treatments exist?

or am i just expecting too much?

im looking for a one night spa break oooop north (not too far a drive from yorkshire) BUT i want treatments! (more than a bloody "taster" facial!

the best i have found is the Titanic spa in huddersfield which offers a one night break with a facial, full body massage and pedi/manicure, plus lunch and evening meal, for £199.

i wanted a one night break for one....ie - MEEEEE! just ME! on my lonesome. with some gorgeous pampering stuff thrown in. i wanted to take some trashy magazines and some wine and indulge myself for one whole 24 hours.....

it seems to me that most spa breaks are either priced based on 2 people sharing, or they have a poultry "taster" spa treatment included....

i want proper pampering.
i want to not have to drive home afterwards.

is the best one the Titanic? i cant see any others that offer what im looking for....ive been to titanic before and enjoyed it.

am i missing something or is it impossible to find an overnight spa break which includes some treatments?

ta!

Hotel du vin in Harrogate offers some lovely spa packages and Seaham hall is luxurious and the treatments are well worth the money and the restaurant is def worth trying

Ceder court hotel & spa in York. One hour ESPA facial, one hour body massage, full use of swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi was £125 for a day spa - check out their site for other offers.

Best facial I've had in a long, long time. With an pink mud head massage thrown in as well (left it on as I wasn't going out and hair was lovely after I did wash it)

I'm going back!

We stayed at Raithwaite Hall just outside Whitby last week. I didn't use the spa but the hotel was lovely, staff couldn't have been more attentive. Ignore some of the rubbish on tripadvisor and look at their website.

Jakadaal · 04/09/2014 16:06

Second for raithwaite hall for the hotel but the spa treatments were a bit perfunctory and you could feel the therapists clock watching constantly

No idea if it suits your needs, but the Verbena Spa at Helmsely looks lovely.

Rudding Park does fantastic one-night breaks with amazing treatments and dinner included. It's such a beautiful place to stay too!
