Anyone has this done or know someone that has? I saw it on the Harley Street prog a few months ago on TV & trying to find out more about it. Seems less scary than implants but I don't know how long lasting the effect is. Thank you!

I haven't seen the program but if you gain a stone then you generally go up a cup size too. So you could just eat more Smile

It's a quite common procedure for BC ladies who've had a mastectomy and I've never read on the 2 forums I'm on that it has a shelf life, so to speak. 2 people I know had tissue etc. taken from their tums and 1 from her back.

I've been internet buddies(US-speak!) for 10+ years.

Well worth investigating, if that's what you want.

A friend of mine has had it done (due to mastectomy) and the longevity was one of the reasons she did it. Think with implants it's every ten years but with that procedure there's no reason to get it re-done. However my friend did have to go back in once or twice to get it more even. Was a very sore and arduous procedure, but I guess that could be because they had to build up the breast form scratch with muscle taken from elsewhere and then fat pumped in.

Thanks for comments so far. By long lasting I mean that I have read that typically only about 75% of the transferred fat 'takes' and I don't know if once you're down to the 75% ish whether it's then stable forever or or if it would continue to diminish.

Putting a stone on as suggested upthread would possibly do the trick but then would cause a whole new set of issues!Grin
