Hello Smile
DD wants some new Straightners to straighten her thick very curly mane!
It's her birthday in a few weeks so I thought I'd buy her some Smile
Anything up to £60 as she already got a couple of things x

Hmmm tbh I think only ghds are any good. A runner up is Remington wet to dry but you do get what you pay for in my opinion

I think only ghds are worth it but they're pricey. Cheaper ones just don't work as well.

I disagree. I've got some Remington straighteners and they are brilliant. I'm not sure of price as they were a present but I would guess they were under £60. Mine have curved edges so you can curl as well as straighten with them. They are good enough that my sister, who is picky and usually uses nothing but GHD's, steals them for using for big nights out.

Hairdresser pal swears by Cloud 9, says they're better than GHDs and do less damage. Pricey though! And I think only available through selected salons.

Thick curly hair needs a wide plate not a narrow one, GHDs do two sizes.
