Please help! What 'colour' am I?

Okay so I'm very confused by all this talk of undertones, seasons, colour palettes etc.

I think I'm inbetween but who knows!

I have pale skin which is quite pinky, blue eyes and naturally strawberry blonde hair. Please help me find out what colours I should be wearing and what make up would look good! I have absolutely no idea!

TIA x

Your skin, eye and hair colour make me think that you could be a Summer (suiting cool colours) but I thought I'd be the same until the HoC consultant pointed out I have a bit more yellow than pink in my skin overall (my pink turned out to be rosacea Angry ) and she classed me towards the cool end of Spring, which is warmish colours.

So you might be in for a surprise!

What kind of colours do you already like wearing, OP? What outfits do you tend to get complimented on?

OldCatLady · 31/08/2014 19:06

I tend to just wear colours I like, not necessarily colours that suit me. But I tend to get compliments when wearing baby blue, and my mum always says I suit burgundy.

That would fit with Summer shades.

If your strawberry blond then it sounds like you are warm.

MissScatterbrain · 01/09/2014 13:56

Lots of strawberry blondes I know are spring - light, bright and warm colours.

Summers suit muted soft cool colours - a very different look.

Perhaps I am inbetween?

As I have warm hair but cool (pinky) skin.... No wonder I'm confused!

Have a look at soft summer.

I'm similar to you OP and thought I'd be an autumn but I was diagnosed as a HOC spring - so I can take the brighter warm colours. If you can afford it I think it's worth going yourself and I had a nice day out Smile minus DCs

Might just be me, but I think it's harder to say which colours look good than which look bad. Is there anything you know doesn't suit you? With me it was grey so I guess I was always going to be autumn!
