Thinking of getting a kit with uv lamp and colours. Think it will be cheaper in long run then paying £25 a time.
Any reccomdations?

I have the sensationail kit which you can get in boots. It's good. A bit of a faff at first but after doing it a few times I got much quicker. The nail polishes are expensive though, about £15. I've bought cheaper ones on amazon/ebay and they've worked fine.

I bought the kiss system in Asda when it was half price. Very pleased with it. The base/top coat pack from Amazon for £6 was surprisingly good quality and gives good results. The kiss colours are good, the blue skies ones seem to need a hundred coats, the harmony gelish set crinkly with my lamp. I have some great Chinese unbranded sparkly colours which I am really happy with.

QVC sell Red Carpet (but they are out of stock on the full sets with the lamps and all the bottles you need)
I've seen them instore but no idea how much

My daughter bought this stuff called Gelous Nail Gel and it works without the UV lights. It's pretty cheap ($8 here in USA), although it's a little more time consuming as you have to put a layer on after each layer of nail polish. But IT WORKED. It really did produce super hard nails that looked and performed like gel nails done in a salon.

Gelous that sofia is talking about can be bought from Sally's only here. It's more expensive on amazon/eBay for some odd reason. It doesn't last as long as gel polish on me personally but it does extend how long it lasts and is hard, thick and shiny.

I use this lamp from Amazon and bluesky gel polish, which is usually only £5 a bottle from Amazon. I've found it great, it usually lasts me 10 days to 2 weeks.
