There are some great ones for not very much money. Next are my fave (ultimate capri, i think theyre called) then River Island, of all places!!

Thanks! Both of those are nearly half polyester. I have some from Zara which are similar to the Next ones but they tend to look shiny. I think cotton / elastane is what I'm after.

Gap Slim Cropped are great and 95% cotton.

I have been looking at those online and need to go and try. They do look loose though - I'd like them very fitted if possible and ankle grazing rather than cropped am a size 8-10 pear.

I'm size 8 too and bought them in 6 regular - they're very close fitting and keep their shape. There was some tiny shrinkage after first wash. I tried on bloody loads of trousers before finding them!

I'm just not a fan of Next trousers on me, not sure about long / short waisted? I have a huge bum and small waist and sort of long body. Plus Next is very poly heavy. I am eating my words as I have defended polyester on here before, I still don't mind it for tops but my Zara trousers have been very disappointing and they are 45% polyester.

My best ones are from Cos, and are mostly cotton. I have some White Company ones too, but am currently too fat for them, and they are nowhere near as good as the Cos ones anyway.

Just bought some lovely ones in Oasis. They actually had a few nice ankle skimming options!

its the distance from crotch to waist. Mine is short. Marks trousers do up under my tits ffs

Ok I think mine is long then, due to my big bum. I have M and S jeggings and they are a nice mid rise on me.

Mm I do need stretch. I might order those ones Remus. I need to go into Gap to try some on, their sizing online makes zero sense to me.

Have you got a store nearby? Sizing tends to be v erratic, so I wouldn't trust ordering online.
