which make up brand?

Ok so am thinking of a make over as ive not been at my best for well quite some time now and were wondering what make up brands you all recommend?

Nothing mega expensive but happy to pay a bit if it is worth it. Brands ive been used to are mainly avon eyes/foundation with a superdrug blush or highlighter and no 7 tint moisturiser for summer. Im interested in finding out more about no 7 and mac to see if they are any good and also any other ideas

Revlon! I like their foundations and lip stuff. Both great.

Consider going into boots or debenhams on a week day and asking for suggestions. Hopefully you will get good advice and samples.

Mac, No.7 & Elizabeth Arden for the Double Wear foundation are all great. Never stick to one brand it's all mixed & matched. Ooh Clinique loose powder is fab too.

I only have a small boots which only do no 7 and no other make up counters unless i travel which i never get to do but i hope to soon.

I think more than anything its finding the right primer, foundation and concealer im most interested in. I have very light pale skin and most foundations are orange on me. Skin wise i want to look flawless and dewy and my skin is shiny and i have a lot of blackheads/larger pores i want to hide. I also have huge bags under my eyes.

I buy cheapo brands for most things but I think a good foundation is well worth splashing out on. My absolute favourite is clarins - feels light and makes my face look bright and glowy.
