Hoof stick help

I am a fucking mess.
I've decided to start with nails and hair. Hair is being dealt with on Tuesday, in the meantime, nails.

I own a hoof stick, much to my amazement. I didn't even know I had it. So, how do I use it? Can I just have a go at pushing them back when I'm watching tv, or do I have to soak my nails in warm soapy water first?

I also found some Solar Oil and OPI Nail Envy, please reassure me that they will help!

You'd be better buying some cuticle remover gel than soaking them. But soaking them will soften a bit then you can push them pack. Or if you do her cuticle remover then apply it, leave it for a bit and then push them back then wash hands. Get a glass file to shape your nails.
Nail envy is good and use the oil as much as you can! Apply it all the time.

If cuticles are particularly tough then soak them first but not necessary. Then do gentle buff & file, (keep the shaping in check through the week if need be) apply nail envy & oil when touch dry. Keep on top of oiling them at least twice a day and you'll be amazed in a few weeks. Don't over buff the nail plate or you'll ruin them, a 4 way buffer is ideal.
