I've just tried it, really quickly with straighteners curling my hair, brilliant!

The teenagers told me this trick last week, must try it (putting hair I'm a ponytail and curling the tail, then letting the hair back down)

I did it again this morning with my straighteners, it works. My hair could do with being a tiny bit longer to be perfect, but it's just so quick!

No wonder female teenagers are so groomed looking these days. Pinterest, youtube tutorials... All we had was a double page spread in Jackie on hair mascaras.

I know this was a couple of weeks ago but I finally got me some cheap tongs so I could give it a go - It works!

I have shoulder length hair so I did two high up bunches (my 4 year old was very taken with this, seeing as though she also had high bunches today!) and I curled the bunches. Looked good, not as polished as when I section and curl for special occasions, but definitely something I'll be doing a lot because it loooked different, like I'd made an effort but only took 5 minutes!
