I could really use some help here, I'm not into style stuff at all and don't know what to wear with some new trousers I have.

They are for work, I'm a teacher. I need to be a bit smart but not suits.
I wear DM style boots and my style is usually very casual/a bit 'butch'. I'm a size 22.
I have black, dark navy blue boots and brown boots which match the trousers very well. I don't know what colour tops to wear with it, and which shoes I should wear too. I can't tuck anything in as my belly is too big. I have pale skin, dark brown hair and blue eyes.
I have a dark aubergine top which I think might be okay.
Perhaps a navy top? If so, which colour shoes.
As you can see I'm totally useless with this. Any help would be much appreciated.
