Children's sizing for Abercrombie and Hollister

I've seen a couple of items on Ebay that I like the look of, but they're generally marked small, medium and large. I have a 10 yr old and 12 year old both tall and skinny. Does anyone know which size would match which age group? So small for 10 year old (XS)?

an average 10yr old would be an xs and the 12 yr. old maybe as well. is it possible to go to a store to try on and then bid on eBay items?

my ds2 is 12 (13in jan) and already taller than me (I'm 5'9) so wears an adult medium in Hollister/superdry and a&f, whereas my ds1 who is now 17, was an xs that was quite big on him at 12, and now a medium adults at 17.

if the 10yr old I small then id advise looking at the a&f kids on eBay and not bothering with the adults or Hollister as Hollister don't make children's clothing.

Many thanks for this, I've got an idea of the sizes now.

My 14 y.o. DS is about 5"6 and very skinny, we are finding the Abercrombie Kids size XL is just about ok on him although he has been wearing a sweatshirt in that size for the last two years.
Abercrombie Kids have a sale on ATM with free shipping iirc.
