R.e ear piercing.

Got my ears pierced 13 days ago. I've been cleaning them religiously. However my ear lobes are now swollen. Nothing is coming out of my ears though. Could this be an infection or is some tenderness and swelling to be expected.

I've had my ears pierced for about 18 years and I sometimes get some tenderness and swelling around my earlobes. I usually put it down to lying funny at night and the earring digging in awkwardly at night, or my hair getting caught and irratating my ear. There is never any sign of infection. I usually get them a good clean and leave my earrings out of a day or two and it clears up :)

My DD had hers done last summer then a second one done in one ear about 5 weeks ago.
AFAIR, she has no swelling or pain until she changed them. One new earring had a rough bit on the post (silver) and it damaged her piercing but it did settle with other earrings.
You can't remove them yet after less than 2 weeks.

What are you bathing them with? Is it the solution? Maybe try some salt water? (Boil, dissolve a teaspoon of salt and cool)
