Independent stores in Bath

If you were looking for an unusual scarf in Bath (and yes for reasons that I can explain but not right now, it does have to be Bath)....where would you go?

There's a couple of shops at the top of town

used to be mee

And some weird looking industrial chic shop nearby. Also

the loft Sort of wafty Toast type stuff

There's a few near Jamies in Milsom Place.

Thank you....I'm trying to hunt down a scarf that someone bought me & which I've sadly lost. They bought it in Feb but only gave it to me recently. There's a photo on my profile page.....not great but it's quite unusual. I live 180 miles away!

Ok...it was definitely not silk...more cotton or that type of material.
Cream with red, white & yellow in the middle. Writing in black on the edge: Faith, Love, Fierce, Boss

Your name won't click on my phone. There's a little shop that opened at Xmas by cross bath, has some interesting scarves, it's calked something like fluck and something. I can look tomorrow I can see it from my office or post your pic here?

There is a little shop between Body Shop and the pharmacy that sells scarves but I can't for the life of me remember it's name! I'll have a peek next time I'm in.

There is a huge scarf stall in the indoor market hall - they looked like lovely scarves - not naff market crap!

Is the one near the Body Shop called French Grey?

The shop by body shop is called French Grey or something like that. Market hall stall could also be the place. I just decamped to my computer to see your profile pic- the scarf is almost impossible to identify but I can see Its not one from Fluck and something.

I love a good detective hunt but I have to decline the challenge. Good luck.

Yay Pluck and Lustre- but its not from there. And yes to French Grey. YOu clearly know Bath Shivs- the market is indeed the guildhall are you doing this from memory or a map? And why is it so important to find the scarf? I am intruiged now.

I really don't know Bath...got Yellow Pages & turned into a detective.
Scarf was bought as a present...wore it once and lost it/misplaced when out with friends for my 40th. Two of the words on the scarf represent my children's names...so really personal.

And if it helps I can email you a better quality of the photo...I'm so ANNOYED with myself!!!

Your kids are called Boss and Fierce?

I tried typing the words into google with "scarf" and searched images- zilch.

I think those words describe me!! Fierce when I'm annoyed & the boss of the house

I've googled galore, phoned so many tk maxx shops as I thought it might have been from there...and scrolled through pages of eBay!
