I have a skin condition which may or may not be rosacea, the dermatologist isn't sure. Whatever it is it cause me to have thickened red skin on my cheeks and chin. I need to cover it. At the moment I use a no 7 Matt foundation which covers it but also looks quite caked on. I need something that looks less like a mask. Any ideas?

I'd suggest using a lighter coverage foundation on the areas where you don't need a lot of coverage and then using a product like Dermablend or Keromask on the areas that you want to cover up more. You could also use a full coverage foundation on the areas that need it if you'd prefer.

I haven't tried Keromask but have heard many good things about it. I have used the Dermablend foundation which is very good but the shade selection is limited.

I'd also recommend setting the foundations with powder. A translucent powder might cake less than a coloured powder.

Thanks so much. Have just ordered the sample kit for keromask.
