Been looking at some nice ones on Asos. Suitable for winter (ie lined, warm, waterproof) or just for Autumn?

I used to wear duster coats in my 20s (in the 80s when fashion was fabulous Wink ) but they were a long length, long sleeved buttonless cotton. So not ideal for winter (especially in Glasgow) more a float about cover up.

Pain in the neck TBH as they get caught (on seats, in doors, by feey) and you need to sweep them up over your arm or take them off to go to the loo.

But they looked really nice.

by feey = by feet

I too was an 80s duster coat wearer (nods crunchy 'do in direction of 70isaLimit). I am also tempted by the ASOS ones but agree that they are not winter fare. Would definitely work for autumn & let's face it that's pretty much now!
