I like these but what else is out there. I need a pair to nail my A/W14 look.

I've got some good ones over the years on Schuh.

But made a mistake sometimes by buying man-man fibres - cheaper to buy but also not waterproof so no good for Belfast winters! I learnt that the hard way Hmm

Those ones in your pic are good.

Make sure the sole grip is good, waterproof and not fiddly to get on and off.

LuvDaMorso · 27/08/2014 07:55

Where are those from fox?

I like these www.dunelondon.com/mightee-studded-strap-detail-calf-biker-boot-0617508150075484/

Cranagh · 27/08/2014 08:20

I bought Russell and Bromley biker boots last winter, not cheap but I lived in them.

foxinthebox · 27/08/2014 08:44

They are from Hush and are £225.

Cranagh are those gapey enough at the ankle? I don't want a snug fit to give the illusion of a well turned ankle when i am wearing leggings or tights.

Ooh, i like the edgy studs on the Dune ones too!

I could have asked the same question so will follow the thread with interest. I have seen the ones in your photo and really like them but am worried how the woven leather would wear? What do you think?

I also like these here but are they a bit clumpy?

shopalot · 27/08/2014 09:14

Cranagh- love the R&B ones. Do you have to undo the buckle every time you put them on or just the zip?

shopalot · 27/08/2014 09:19

like these

Cranagh · 27/08/2014 09:41

No, they just slip on, really easy to get on and off and very warm and comfy. Gapey enough at the ankle too. Really great winter boots.

foxinthebox · 27/08/2014 09:41

Ooh shopalot, the R&B are lively. The leather looks more robust on the woven section too.

can anyone recommend any biker boots for the less well trimmed ankle?Blush Blush

vanillagorilla · 27/08/2014 13:29

Can anyone recommend any bikers similar to those in the OP for about £150 please?

AstoriaMalfoy · 27/08/2014 13:43

Really like those R&B ones .
Are they flattering though if you have less than skinny legs ?? I've always avoided mid calf boots but I do like those . Hmmm

TwoInTheMourning · 27/08/2014 14:03

I love the ones linked to here, all of them, but I do prefer a higher heel. What do you think of these ones?

lordnoobson · 27/08/2014 14:03

the OP ones look like wellies

ElPolloDiabolo · 27/08/2014 14:33

I unearthed my Fly Mols today after a couple of years of shunning them for ankle bikers. Pleasantly surprised

McFox · 27/08/2014 14:37

The disco Mallorca (another shit name) from Clarks are brilliant. I've been wearing mine almost constantly for a year and they are still in great condition. Plus they go with everything.

BabsUnited · 27/08/2014 14:49

I am hankering after some DMs, these ones: linkie

shopalot · 29/08/2014 14:46

Went In to Russel and Bromley today and have to say that I love the quilted boots which I linked to above. They come up quite big. I am 38.5 and the 38.5 were big so would need a 38 but could also have gone for the 37.5. However I didn't buy them:( Would have snapped them up if they were £100 cheaper but will have to wait a month as they are expensive. I know they would be an investment (but am going to see if I can find a different pair cheaper!!)

These are the best ever biker boots. I adore them!!!! I bought them last year and they are just lovely and look great with skinny jeans skirts etc!

tillyann2013 · 29/08/2014 22:03

I swear by Ash, probably wouldn't go for a ramble in them but they are fash pack approved and super comfy too...

Nancy66 · 30/08/2014 14:06

I love Ash too. Bought a pair last year and they look fantastic and are very comfy.

foxinthebox · 30/08/2014 15:16

I have never seen Ash before. Ever. Am i so unfashionable?

Yes Fox... I would hang your head in shame and perhaps buy some Van Dals or Crocs instead!
