M & S Perfume

I've been given a £20 voucher for good old M & S and thought that I'd treat myself to some perfume. I'll be visiting my local store tomorrow but wondered if any of you had any recommendations for nice-smelling, long-lasting scents?

What type of fragrances do you usually like/wear?

I love the Fragonard fragrances - being buying them in France for years and really happy M&S have started stocking them.

I hardly ever wear any perfume! I've a bottle of Chanel No5 which I wear occasionally and that's it! I'd just like something light and pretty - I'll go and sniff loads tomorrow but wondered if there were any particularly nice ones.

Hmm, light and pretty - Fragonard's Muguet would certainly fit the bill. A really nice, youthful take on lily of the valley. I also like Roger and Gallet's Bois d'Orange - the staying power isn't brilliant but it's pure carefree summer in a bottle. Enjoyed trying the Monotheme Bergamot scent the other week, but would need to try again to be sure...

I fell for these this week.

I like the Gingembre on its own and the Green Oranges is lovely that way but even better with Black Oud in the mix. I'm trying 3 parts Black Oud to 10 parts Green Oranges as a start.

I probably won't wear Black Oud on its own because I dislike the first hour of it.
