Evening dress help desperately required!

I am throwing myself on the mercy of the style mavens of MN. :) I need to find a pretty evening dress. I am a solid size 14. I have broad shoulders, good breasts, but a stomach that very genuinely makes me look 6 months pregnant (people keep congratulating me Hmm ) I have good legs so would prefer something on the knee. I am 40, not particularly stylish and am rubbish at shopping. My budget is about £200, because this dress will have to last several years!

Colours that I think look good on me... black, charcoal grey, navy, deep red. I love embellishments like embroidery and sequins, and really want to find something that makes me look chic, elegant and most emphatically NOT pregnant.

Any help gratefully received!

I think something not too fitted would work better for you. How about

I definitely think not too fitted! Love both dresses.... adore tether's dress. Gosh that is beautiful.

Thanks. :) Keep 'em coming!
