Black tote: Kate Spade or Coach?

I am shopping at a premium outlet in the US. For approx £100 I can buy either a Coach or a Kate Spade tote. I cannot decide which one to go for?

The Coach one as I like the detail a bit better and it has a zip which is a deal breaker for me.

I regret not buying this recently- but it was £225 (Dubai). £100 is a great price! (It's £295 in John Lewis!)

They're great quality. Mil is going to US this year and I will be choosing something for her to bring back for me. Got quite a few already.

KateSpade obviously...

I have that Coach bag in purple - it is fabulous. I paid £140 for it in the sale in the UK. If you do buy it and decide you don't like it, they do tend to hold their price well on ebay.

I loathe Coach so I´d have to say Kate Spade.

Either way I hope you love your choice and enjoy using the bag.

Coach although the Kate Spade is very nice - could you stretch to both and get different colours?

They are both lovely. I don't have any Kate Spade so can't comment on the quality of those, but coach bags are good quality and last well.

Thanks all. I went with a black Coach tote in the end - not the one I linked to but similar. It was at a premium outlet so $121 reduced from $358.
